Two Trader Joe’s locations are up and running in Kansas City as of July 15th. The California chain of grocery stores has gained quite a cult following, will it succeed in doing the same here in Kansas City? The store’s cheap wine, rightfully named Two Buck Chuck, should certainly be a hit.
Opening day was certainly busy, with devoted fans lined up at the door waiting to get in and stock up on Trader’s Joe goodies. Here at the Kansas City movers, we are personal fans of Trader Joe’s, and we hope the markets succeed. Granted, the hysteria that surrounded the store’s arrival was a bit much (one woman even postponed her c-section to get there opening morning?), but as the days pass we do wish Trader Joe’s luck in Missouri.
So, if you’re moving to Kansas City from California or any other area that’s gotten you accustomed to shopping at Trader Joe’s, rest assured your market will be here when you arrive!
The store’s new locations are at Ward Parkway Center and at the One Nineteen Shopping Center.
