A new apartment complex is coming to the Kansas City area with the help of VanTrust Real Estate who has hired Opus Design Build LLC as contractor for a project called 51 Main. 51 Main will be located near the South Plaza neighborhood of town and is projected to cost $39 million to build. The six story project will have 176 units, retail space encompassing 10,000 square feet, and a clubhouse among other details and amenities.
The Leawood movers have learned that construction for the development began January of this year and the first residents will be allowed to move in early 2014. The rental options and retail space that this complex will bring to the area have many industry insiders excited and ready to liven up the area near South Plaza with luxury residence offerings.
