An advanced auto facility is coming to Kansas City this year, according to recent statements from the Kansas City Area Development Council. Adrian Steel, a company that supplies parts for Ford Motor Company, will build a 32,000 square foot facility and add a logistics center creating job opportunity in the region and also stimulate the local economy.
Adrian Steel chose Kansas City as the next location and is investing $4.7 million into the creation of the new business compound. Adrian Steel installs auto interiors and is contracted as the interior team for the Ford TRANSIT commercial van which is set to be built at the new facility. The Kansas City movers have found the continued faith by auto companies to the region has helped it stay strong and attract auto suppliers and related companies to the city.
