February was a big month for the Kansas City metropolitan area’s real estate market according to the National Association of Home Builders/First American Improving Markets Index. Each month, the index adds new cities to the list as markets improve, and the tally is currently naming almost 100 cities as improving.

In addition Kansas City, several other cities had successful months in February, such as Miami, Boston, Detroit, Portland and Salt Lake City. While the study certainly highlights a positive trend, the Kansas City movers want to save our excitement and follow the current statistics and make sure that the positive market trends continues in Kansas City.
