The housing industry and the employment rate are two areas of American life that have been quite dismal lately. The irony, however, is that the two have a distinct effect on each other. For example, people struggling with unemployment essentially can’t buy a home, or keep up with the mortgage payments. People who have a home and lose their job are in the same boat.
