- Russel Stover is headquartered in Kansas City, making it the perfect place to buy your loved ones chocolate or candy after moving.
- Ernest Hemingway moved to Kansas City and wrote the famous book, “A Farewell to Arms.” He also had two sons while living here.
- Kansas City is home to one of the nation’s largest parks, Swope Park, which includes a zoo, several gardens, a nature center, golf course, a pool and baseball and soccer fields.
- The largest piece of public art in Kansas City is a statue of a Sioux Indian sitting on top of a horse called “The Scout.” Bring your family to Penn Valley Park to see it after moving to Kansas City.
- Kansas City is known to be the barbeque capital of the world and is where Masterpiece barbeque sauce originated.
